EU Industry Days 2023

We are writing to you to invite you to register for the EU Industry Days 2023, which will take place on 4-6 October in Málaga, Spain.

The EU Industry Days are Europe’s flagship annual event. Every year, the event brings together policymakers, industrial frontrunners, SMEs, start-ups, researchers, civil society representatives, and many other stakeholders, and offers them a platform to discuss the future of EU industry. With the support of the Spanish Presidency of the EU Council, this year’s edition will take place at the Trade Fairs and Congress Centre of Málaga.

Main Programme

The main programme of the EU Industry Days is now available! Our speakers will discuss some of the latest developments in EU industry and industrial policy, including the Green Deal Industrial Plan, the transformation of the skillset of the EU labour force, the financing tools available to create and scale up innovative technologies, and the lab-to-market transfer of emerging technologies. They will also present their views on the EU’s relations with China, our cooperation with different suppliers around the globe, and the linkages between Ukraine and the Single Market.

As one of this edition’s highlights, Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy and President of the Jacques Delors Institute, will sit with business association representatives and draw inspiration from their views for his upcoming report on the future of the Single Market.

The event’s main programme will also feature three fireside chats presenting inspiring stories of transformation and resilience, with Peter Wennink, CEO of ASML, Taavi Madiberk, CEO of Skeleton Technologies, and Martin Pei, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of SSAB.

Parallel Sessions

The EU Industry Days will also offer the opportunity to zoom in on the work of industry associations, regional clusters, cooperatives, research institutes, academia, and many other stakeholders. These sessions will allow participants to discover best practices across several dimensions, including net-zero technologies, critical raw materials, skills, single market barriers, standards, and much more.
