Description:

How to respond to the challenges of Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) operationalisation and uptake?

This session presents expert-driven solutions addressing the needs of initiators of the EC SSbD framework, showing the tangible benefits of SSbD adoption to meet diverse indicators requirements, and highlighting the implications of the necessary shift in innovation mind-set towards a holistic approach.

A panel discussion with the involvement of the audience will allow reflecting on the proposed solutions as well as addressing other challenges such as fast and effective screening of design options and cost-benefit evaluations.
