3rd Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) Boot Camp

Join us for the 3rd Edition of the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) Boot Camp, organized by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) – the European Commission’s science and knowledge service – in collaboration with the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC). This engaging event will take place from Tuesday, 28 October 2025 at 13:30 CEST to Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 13:00 CEST in Ispra, Italy.

This Boot Camp is specifically designed for SSbD experts, researchers, and practitioners with a technical-scientific background who are keen on strengthening innovation towards the development of safe and sustainable chemicals and materials. Attendees will gain fundamental insights into the SSbD framework and have the opportunity to learn from top experts in the field.

The event features two full days of interactive sessions, including key presentations and breakout sessions to discuss specific topics and real case studies. Participants will engage in rich discussions to explore safety and sustainability aspects of innovation and propose solutions to existing challenges.

Attendance is free of charge; however, participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. The organizers will assist with booking affordable accommodation and arrange free local shuttle transportation.
